What we build

Start with one thing.
Grow into all of it.

Almost everyone arrives with one problem. Usually the website is not bringing in work, or the same admin job is quietly eating an afternoon every week. What keeps people here is that the next thing and the one after that does not mean finding another company and explaining your business all over again.

Web Development

Websites that bring in work, not just sit there. Most business sites are a brochure nobody reads. Yours should turn up when someone searches for what you do, answer the question they arrived with, and make it easy to get in touch before they lose interest. We build on WordPress so your own staff can change a price or add a page without paying anybody.

Custom Software Development

Booking systems and client portals built around how you actually work. If you are still taking bookings by phone tag, or emailing the same three documents to every new client, that is a system waiting to be built. Booking that fills your diary overnight. A private login where clients see their own files, invoices and progress instead of ringing you.

AI Development & Integration

The admin half of your week, handled. Answering the same fifteen questions. Drafting the quote. Chasing the person who went quiet. Sorting enquiries so only the real ones reach you. Set up using your own information, and you can check anything before a customer ever sees it.

CRM Development

Stop losing work to forgetting. Most businesses do not lose jobs to a competitor — they lose them because nobody followed up. We set up a system your team will actually keep updated, joined to the enquiries coming off your website and to your invoicing, so nobody is typing the same customer into three places.

Mobile App Development

Your business on their home screen. Loyalty, ordering and customer accounts — or a tool for a team that is never sitting at a desk. One build that works properly on both iPhone and Android, published in both app stores under your own developer account.

Social Media Management

Posted, answered and found. Content designed and scheduled, messages and comments handled while you are working, and the words on your website written so people actually find it. It works far better when the person posting can see what the site is trying to sell.

We have already built
for a business like yours.

Why clients switch

Built like an in-house team.
Priced like a project.

Four things clients tell us they could not get from the last people they hired. They are also the four reasons 98% of them are still here after the first job.

01

Senior people only

The person who works out what you need is the person who builds it. You are not paying for somebody to learn on your project, and you are not being charmed by a salesperson then handed to whoever happens to be free.

02

A fixed number, before any code

One price, agreed in writing before we start. It does not move unless you ask for something new, also in writing. No hourly meter running, no awkward extras, no invoice you have to argue about.

03

Someone actually answers

A named person who has actually read what you sent, replying the same working day. Not a shared inbox, not a chatbot, and not a manager passing messages to a team you never meet.

04

One team, not five suppliers

The website, the content, the social, the hosting and the follow-up all sit in the same weekly conversation. Nothing falls between two suppliers blaming each other, and exactly one person is answerable for whether it works.

Who you are dealing with

A small senior team,
on purpose.

PixelBot started in 2021 for a boring reason: too many good businesses were paying agency prices for junior work, and finding out six months later. So we stayed deliberately small. The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, and you can reach them without a ticket number or a account manager in between.

Three hundred launches later, the model has not changed. We still take on fewer clients than we could. We still put a fixed number in writing before anyone opens a code editor. And 98% of the businesses we build for are still with us — which, after four years, is the only number on this page that really proves anything.

And what we will not do

Take on more work than we can answer

The reason you get a reply the same day is that we said no to someone last month.

Hand you over after you have signed

You meet the people who build it. There is no cheaper second team behind the pitch.

Hold your website hostage

It is all in your name from day one. If you leave, it costs you one password change.

Bill you for hours you cannot see

One price, agreed before we start. No timesheets you are asked to take on trust.

We had been through two software development agencies before this. The difference was that PixelBot showed us the architecture first — and then held to the number they quoted.

How we work

A way of working
you can hold us to.

Four stages. Something finished at the end of each one. A price and a date in writing before anything gets built. You always know what happens next and what it costs.

01

We work out what it has to do

Before anything else we sit down and work out what this actually has to achieve — more enquiries, fewer phone calls, less time on admin. Then you get a plan, a price and a date, in writing. If it turns out you do not need what you asked for, we will tell you here, not after you have paid.

02

You see it early, not at the end

You get a real, working link in the second week — not a picture of one. We show you where it is up to every week, you tell us what to change, and your team learns how to use it while it is still being built.

03

We break it before your customers can

Real phones, real tablets, real test payments. We check it still loads fast on a weak signal and that it works for people who cannot use a mouse. Nothing goes live just because a date said so.

04

We launch it, then we stay

We move everything across, make sure nothing you already show up for disappears, and hand you a plain-English guide to your own site. Then you keep the same person, who already knows exactly how it was built.

How we choose

Boring technology,
chosen on purpose.

We pick tools that will still be here in ten years, that any decent developer can pick up, and that will not suddenly cost you triple. That is exactly why so much of what we build sits on WordPress — not because it is exciting, but because you can find someone to work on it anywhere in the world, and you are never stuck with us.

Questions we get every week

The things you actually
want to ask.

Answered here so you do not have to book a call to get them. If yours is not covered, ask us directly and you will get a written answer inside one business day.

Honestly, it depends on four things: how many pages you need, whether people are booking or buying through it, how many other systems it has to talk to, and whether we are writing the words or you are. What we will not do is quote you an hourly rate and let it run. You get one price for the whole job, in writing, before anybody starts — and that is the price you pay. It only moves if you ask for something extra, and you approve that in writing too. Send us what you are trying to fix and you will have a real number back the same working day.

You get a launch date in writing at the very start, next to the price — before the job begins, not after it has already slipped. A straightforward site is quicker than one where people book and pay through it, and something built specially for your business takes longer again. The biggest hold-up is almost never us: it is waiting on photos, wording and sign-off from your side. So we agree those dates with you up front and then chase them for you.

You do. All of it, from day one. The domain, the hosting, the website itself and every account it touches are set up in your name and your business email, never ours. If you ever want to work with somebody else, you change one password and the whole lot goes with you. We would rather keep clients because they want to stay than because leaving is a nightmare.

You can do it yourself, and that is the main reason we build the way we do. Prices, opening hours, staff, photos, new pages, news posts — all editable by somebody who is not technical. At handover we record a short video walking through your actual site, not a generic manual nobody watches. And if you would honestly rather never touch it, we will look after it for you instead.

That is where most people get dropped, and it is the part we care about most. Updates, backups, security, keeping an eye on whether the site is up, and a set amount of changes each month — all handled by the person who built it. No long tie-in. 98% of the businesses we build for stay with us afterwards, and that is the only number on this page that really proves anything.

Usually, yes. We start by looking at what is actually there — where it is hosted, what state it is in, and whether the last developer still has the keys. Then you get a straight answer: either it is worth keeping and improving, or you would spend less starting again, and we will tell you which one it is. We have inherited a lot of these and rescued most of them.

Yes, and it works a great deal better when the same people do both. Posts designed and scheduled, messages and comments answered, all sitting alongside the website — so what you are promising in a post matches what the page says when someone taps through. You can also take social on its own if the website is already fine.

Start here

Bring us the problem,
not the spec sheet.

Thirty minutes with the person who would actually build it, not a salesperson reading off a deck. You will come away knowing whether it is worth doing at all, roughly what it costs and how long it takes — whether or not you go ahead with us.

A written reply in one business day

From someone who has properly read what you sent, not an automatic email promising to be in touch.

NDA before you share anything

Signed on request, before the first call. Your idea, your customers and your numbers stay yours.

No obligation, no sales sequence

If we are not right for this, we will say so on the call and point you at someone who is.
