ABOUT PIXELBOT

We build the software that runs the business.

PixelBot Ltd is a small web development team and digital product studio. Since 2021 we have designed, built and maintained websites, online stores and custom systems for companies that need the work to hold up after launch.

01 — OUR STORY

A web development team founded in 2021.
Built to still be here.

PixelBot started in 2021 with a straightforward premise: most businesses were being sold either a cheap template that would not scale, or an enterprise engagement they did not need. There was very little in between that anyone could actually maintain.

Five years on, that is still the position — websites, stores and custom systems built to a standard that survives the handover.

Software is easy to sell and hard to keep running. We would rather a web development team be judged on what is still working three years after launch than on what looked impressive in the pitch.

We have grown deliberately rather than quickly, and structured the company so that the people who scope a project stay with it through delivery. Senior review is not something we add when a client asks for it.

That is the trade, stated plainly. We do not chase every enquiry. The ones we take, we run properly.

02 — CAPABILITIES

What our web development team does

Five service lines that share one web development team, so a website, the store behind it and the system that runs the back office are not three separate vendors arguing over an integration.

Marketing sites and web applications built to be fast, indexable and maintainable by someone other than us.

Custom themes and stores on the platform most businesses already run, without the plugin sprawl.

Internal tools, portals, CRMs and the systems that replace the spreadsheet everything currently depends on.

iOS and Android, native or React Native, built when a mobile app is genuinely the right answer.

Stores designed around margin per order — processing, platform fees and returns included.

03 — THE TEAM

The web development team behind the work

No rotating bench, and no web development team you meet only after signing. The same faces from the first call to handover.

04 — STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Six questions worth asking
any web development team

Most of these get asked quietly, late, or not at all. A web development team answering them in public is harder than answering them on a call, which is rather the point.

01

Will you still be here in nine months?

PixelBot Ltd has been trading since 2021 and is paid for by the work it does. There are no investors and no runway to burn through. The registered entity, office and direct line are at the top of this page rather than buried in a footer, because a company that will not tell you where it is registered is telling you something.

02

Who actually writes the code?

Our own engineers. Work is not passed to an anonymous bench or resold to a third party, and the web development team leads on your project are named before you sign anything.

03

What happens when something goes wrong?

Something will. A scope shifts, an integration breaks, a supplier moves a deadline. What you get is early warning rather than a surprise on the due date, a bug-fix window written into the quote, and a defined escalation path with a named owner and a response time.

04

Do you understand my business, or just my tech stack?

We are strongest with service businesses — trades, clinics, professional practices, and stores where margin per order is what matters. If you are in a category we do not know well, we would rather say so on the first call than learn it on your budget.

05

Can I talk to someone who can actually decide?

Yes. Every project has a named lead with the authority to make decisions on scope and schedule, and a direct line to the leadership team behind them. You are not routed through a queue.

06

What is this going to cost?

Every project is quoted as a fixed price before any work starts, against a scope that is written down. There is no hourly meter running in the background. Indicative ranges sit on each service page so you can rule us in or out before you spend an hour on a call.

05 — HOW A PROJECT RUNS

What the first month with our
web development team actually looks like

The same shape on every project, whether it is a five-page site or a custom system. Timings stretch with scope; the order our web development team works in does not change.

DAYS 0—3

The scoping call

Sixty to ninety minutes. We map what you actually need against what you asked for, because those are rarely the same thing. You leave with a written scope, a fixed price and a start date — before any money changes hands.

WEEK 1

Structure before pixels

Sitemap, a page-by-page content plan, and the technical decisions that get expensive to change later. You sign off on all of it before anything is designed.

WEEKS 2—3

Built in the open

You get a working staging link in the first week, not a static mockup at the end of the month. One call a week, same day, same time, whether or not there is good news.

WEEK 4

Testing and handover

Real-device testing, speed and accessibility checks, then a walkthrough call that we record so you can send it to whoever could not make it. Credentials transfer during that call.

AFTER LAUNCH

The bug-fix window

A fixed period after go-live where anything broken gets fixed at no cost by the same web development team. The length is written into your quote, so you never have to take our word for what was covered.

06 — WHO WE ARE GOOD FOR

The businesses we know best

We are not industry-agnostic, and a list of twelve sectors would only mean we know none of them. Most of what our web development team builds is for businesses where a booked job or a completed order is the unit of revenue.

Trades and home services

HVAC, plumbing, roofing, construction. Quote requests that arrive with enough detail to price, service-area pages that rank, and a phone number that is one thumb-tap away on a mobile.

Clinics and practices

Medical and dental. Appointment booking that fits how the front desk actually works, new-patient intake, and treatment pages written the way patients search rather than the way clinicians write.

Professional services

Accounting, legal, consulting. Clear service pages, credibility that survives a sceptical read, and enquiry forms that qualify before the enquiry reaches your inbox.

Stores and ecommerce

Shops where what matters is margin per order after processing, platform fees and returns — not vanity traffic on a dashboard.

Outside these? Say so on the first call. Sometimes it is a fit and sometimes it is not, and finding that out early costs you nothing.

07 — OWNERSHIP

Everything the web development team builds, you own

The industry norm is to keep a little leverage — a licence, a hosting account in the agency’s name, a design file nobody else can open. Software is not automatically yours just because you paid for it, as the US Copyright Office guidance on works made for hire sets out, so our web development team puts a written assignment on every project instead.

01

The code

The full repository, transferred to your account. No licence tied to us, nothing obfuscated, and no plugin only we can renew.

02

Hosting and the domain

In your account, in your name, paid for by you. We work inside your accounts rather than holding them on your behalf.

03

The design files

Yours, in an editable format, so the next person can pick them up without starting the whole thing over.

04

Every credential

Handed over at launch during the walkthrough call — not held back quietly as a reason to keep paying us.

05

The right to walk away

No lock-in on build work. If you want another web development team to take it forward, everything they need is already in your hands.

08 — HOW WE WORK

What our web development team chooses, and what we leave

Every web development team lists what it can do. Almost none list what they will not. Cheaper for both of us if you find this out now rather than three weeks in.
